I'll be playing on PC, so if you guys and gals want to organize the console MGO stuff in a separate thread (you'll probably have a few months head start), feel free, but this can act as just a general friends list even if you aren't planning on going heavy into the MGO scene, PC or otherwise. There's no cross platform multiplayer confirmed so far, so make sure to list the platform you are on. My assumption is that you'd get a notification when someone on your friends list is under attack if they are offline themselves. For FOBs, no rules about not attacking each other or anything like that (I'm not sure how you pick your targets anyway) as you can't really enforce it just a way to connect to some like minded people who'd want to have the chance of someone backing them up when they are offline. MGO doesn't have a clan setup confirmed yet, so this is going to start out loosely organized. With the revelation that you can call upon your friends to help you defend your FOB (Forward Operating Base) if you aren't around, and with MGO delayed for at least a month on consoles and until January for PCs, I thought it would be nice to trade names for FOB related activities and set ourselves up for MGO's eventual release. The original post is below for posterity: BSF is still taking names for when this will (hopefully) be patched, and also for people interested in playing MGO together. POST LAUNCH EDIT: As of right now, we cannot actually support friends in TPP's FOB system.
